CFL bulbs for Smith Victor photo floods?

Way back in the 1980's I was a photo enthusiast. I had a few SV "ultra cool" tungsten flood lights. "Ultra Cool" must have been some sort of sick joke. You could burn yourself if you touched them. If the subject was 10' away and you used an umbrella, they still sweat up a storm. I have not used them in 20 years. I think I might use them again. This time with a digital camera (Finepix S3200) instead of film and CFL bulbs instead of lights that could literally fry eggs. Any suggestions on brands, wattage, etc would be most helpful. Thanks.
